Jim Fink, with a hat tip to Jeff Hirsch and his Stock Trader’s Almanac: “Last three days of June are historically bullish for small-cap stocks and Nasdaq stocks outperform during the first nine days of July.”

Last week upheld the front part of that statement. The Russell 2000 ended June at 1556.57, up nearly three percent in the last three trading days alone.

And now to test the second part of the statement and the Naz’s performance in early July.

Looking for a gap up Monday morning, considering the results of the G-20. President Trump said “at least for the time being” the US won’t be adding new tariffs on China, and that trade talks will restart “where we left off,” and that China will start buying “a tremendous amount” of US ag products.
